Pitt coach Pat Narduzzi says he will not wait until the Panthers open the season September 1st to name his starting quarterback, but he won’t name him just yet. Part of the reason is he doesn’t want to give West Virginia’s coaches as much time to prepare as he has, knowing the Mountaineers will start USC and Georgia transfer J.T. Daniels.
Narduzzi is choosing between his own USC transfer, Kedon Slovis, and returning Panthers QB Nick Patti.
