STATE POLICE-INDIANA BARRACKS
State police say two people were injured in a crash Wednesday night in White Township. Troopers say that 38-year-old Heather Lockard of Vandergrift was going west on Philadelphia Street approaching Colonial Drive in the right lane when 51-year-old William King failed to yield to oncoming traffic as he pulled out from Colonial Drive. King’s car hit the front driver’s side door of Lockhard’s vehicle by the front bumper area, spinning 180 degrees before coming to rest facing North. Both people suffered unknown injuries. The two were taken to IRMC for treatment. King faces a charge of DUI of alcohol or controlled substances.
INDIANA BOROUGH POLICE
Indiana Borough police are looking for a vehicle that hit a parked truck sometime overnight between 9 PM on Wednesday and 8:30 AM on Thursday. Indiana borough police say that during the overnight hours, someone hit and damage a blue Chevy Silverado while it was parked in the 600 block of Maple Street. The driver’s side mirror was damaged in the collision. Anyone with information is urged to call borough police at 724-349-2121.
