The Jimmy Stewart Museum has a new president, if only on an interim basis, and it’s a familiar name.
The James M. Stewart Museum Foundation yesterday appointed Carson Greene, Jr. to serve as interim president as it searches for a replacement for former president Tim Harley.

Greene is a founding board member of the museum and has served as president of the board three times in the past 23 years. He was named Chairman Emeritus of the board last year. He’s a retired executive with Pennsylvania American Water Company and was a senior vice president with First Commonwealth Bank.
Jerry Thomchick, the current chairman of the board, said in a media release, “The Museum is grateful to Carson on agreeing to serve as the interim president until our new president is on board. His personal association and contact with the Stewart family along with his experience having worked with the Museum for over 24 years will certainly make for a smooth and seamless transition.”
As to the search for Harley’s replacement, the museum encourages applicants for the position to submit resumes to the Jimmy Stewart Museum of call 724-349-6112 for further information.
