Fans will get a better understanding of where the Steelers are ability-wise tonight as their portion of the preseason schedule begins with a home game against the Seattle Seahawks.
Normally, first teams do not see action during the first preseason game, but with a shortened schedule, head coach Mike Tomlin said earlier this week Mitch Trubisky and the team’s first offense will see limited time at the beginning of the game.
Offensive lineman James Daniels said training camp has been very productive and the team is ready for tonight.
Tight end Pat Freiermuth said he’s geared to go.
Airtime on WDAD 100.3 FM and AM 1450 tonight is 5 p.m. with pregame coverage. Kick-off from Acrisure Stadium is set for 7 p.m.
