Activities for the upcoming school year start today at IUP as new students are expected to arrive on campus for the fall semester.
The university expects approximately 700 new students to move in today between the hours of 9 a.m. and 3 p.m., and 600 students tomorrow during that same time. Students will head to the KCAC for a one-stop check-in process to ensure that all administrative needs are taken care of. After that, students will be able to move into their respective residence halls.
Official Welcome Week activities will start tomorrow with the “Crimson Hawks Hello” that will run from noon to 5 p.m. Programs for new students will start at 4:30 p.m., followed by residence life floor meetings.
A full list of Welcome Week events can be seen at iup.edu.
