Today is the second day of IUP Commencement exercises and two graduation ceremonies will be held today at the KCAC.
The first of two ceremonies will start at 9:00 today for students in the College of Health and Human Services and the Dr. John and Char Kopchick College of Natural Sciences and Mathematics. The other ceremony will be at 2:00 PM for students in the Eberly College of Business and Information Technology, the College of Education and Communications, the College of Fine Arts, and the College of Humanities and Social Sciences.
The student speaker for the morning session will be Tegan J. Kriebel, who will receive her bachelor of science in Education, Family and Consumer Sciences today. Speaking at the afternoon ceremony will be Stephanie Raby-Reeger, who will receive her degree in anthropology. 43 graduates will also be recognized during all ceremonies who received a 4.0 Grade point Average.
There will be increased traffic in and around campus today, so unless you need to be on campus today, you may want to avoid it. Visitors are asked to arrive early to guarantee yourself that you’ll get to the KCAC to get a good seat. Designated parking lots near the KCAC and across campus free of charge, and there will also be shuttle transportation available starting at 7:30 AM and going until 4:00. If you attending a graduation session, be sure to have your ticket with you, and make sure it’s for the right time.
