State Police believe that the same woman may have pulled off two thefts from the White Township Walmart on April 22nd and 24th. On both days, police say that a 44-year-old woman from Coral took several items from the store without paying for them. Both thefts were reported to state police on May 7th. Police have not identified the suspect by name. No word yet on what exactly she stole or how much she took from the store on both occasions Charges will be filed through the District Magistrate’s office.
State troopers are investigating a case of identity theft in the Clymer area. State police say that this goes back to February 18th of this year, around noon. That’s when an unknown thief or thieves opened a PayPal line of credit in the name of a 72-year-old Clymer man and spent $1,371.26. Much of that was spent at Bradley’s Book Store in the Indiana Mall.
INDIANA BOROUGH POLICE
Indiana Borough Police are investigating a burglary that happened sometime between 10:00 PM on May 8th and 8:00 AM on the 9th. Police say someone entered an apartment at 35 South Carpenter Avenue and stole a backpack, a Visa gift card and various food items.
