A one-vehicle crash has closed a portion of Route 22 in Blairsville.
The eastbound lanes of Route 22 between Route 217 and Walnut Street in Blairsville Borough are closed because of the accident. This is in the area of a bridge rehabilitation project. PennDOT says that the road is expected to reopen later this morning. In the meantime, traffic is being re-routed to Route 217, going through Blairsville Borough and back on to Route 22. Westbound lanes are seeing slowed traffic for the construction zone, but the accident is not affecting westbound traffic.
