The average price of a gallon of gas in Western Pennsylvania has gone up over the last week, but the average cost of gas in Indiana went down a little bit.
According to Gasbuddy.com, the average cost of a gallon of gas in Western PA is $3.04 a gallon, which is an increase of 5 .3 cents per gallon form last week. GasBuddy has listed Indiana County’s average at $3.03 a gallon, one of the two lowest averages in the region. Gas prices in Indiana borough and White Township are holding steady at $3.09 a gallon at many of the gas stations in the area. Gas prices are also at $3.09 a gallon for Homer City and Blairsville areas.
The only county among Indiana County’s neighbors that has a lower gas price average is Clearfield County at $3.01 a gallon. After that, Cambria County had gas prices at $3.08 a gallon, Westmoreland and Armstrong counties had gas prices at $3.09 a gallon, and the most expensive among our neighbors was Jefferson with $3.15 a gallon as of this morning.
