White Township officials have announced that traffic may be disrupted on Tuesday on Indian Springs Road and Rustic Lodge Road due to an emergency sewer line replacement project.
The replacement of the sewer line will be performed on land north of Indian Springs Road and will not involve any excavation of the road, but heavy equipment for the project will periodically occupy a short stretch of the westbound lane of Indian Springs Road near Rustic Lodge Road.
While the road will not be closed, township employees will be out flagging eastbound and westbound traffic through the eastbound lane of the work zone at the Rustic Lodge Road intersection. At times, the traffic signal may be flashing.
Township officials say that motorists should allow some extra time in the area that day, be aware of work crews and follow the flaggers instructions. Work is scheduled to start Tuesday morning at 7 AM and it’s expected to wrap up in the early evening. All the work is dependent on the weather.
