The Steelers announced yesterday that they and Pro Bowl WR Diontae Johnson have agreed to a three-year deal.
Johnson hasn’t practiced with the team while awaiting a new contract from the Steelers, but was a full participant once the agreement was announced. Last year, Johnson set career highs in receptions (107), yards (1,161) and touchdowns (8). He also led the team in receiving and had three 100-yard games.
ESPN’s Adam Schefter reported that Johnson’s contract is worth up to $39.5 million, with $27 million guaranteed.
In other Steelers news, S Minkah Fitzpatrick was activated off the Non-Football Injury list and was a full participant in practice yesterday.
