State police in Indiana announced yesterday that an outdoor ceremony will be held this morning to present scholarship awards to nine recipients of the 2022 Indiana County Camp Cadet Graduate Scholarship.
Each recipient will receive a scholarship for $500. Troopers describe it as a way to give back to the community and to carry on the mission of the Indiana County Camp Cadet program.
The scholarship is available to eligible and deserving cadets who plan to attend college, trade or technical school in pursuit of a graduate degree. It is also intended to assist those who seek a career in law enforcement, however, troopers say applicants across all fields of study were eligible for the scholarship.
The ceremony will start at 9 a.m. at the Troop A barracks along Fenton Road in Indiana.
