The Pirates gave up seven runs to Arizona in the seventh inning and couldn’t recover in a 12-4 loss to the Diamondbacks Monday night at PNC Park.

The Bucs gained a player when Gregory Polanco returned to the lineup, but lost relief pitcher Nick Burdi to a right arm injury.
