The Indiana School Board will meet tonight and will look at approving agreements for literacy graduate assistants from IUP for the next school year, and the district’s portion of the ICTC budget is up for adoption.
The board will look to approve an agreement with IUP to provide up to eight graduate literacy assistants for the next school year. The board is also looking to approve a Google sub-domain agreement, which will allow IUP student teachers to collaborate online using Google Classroom. The student teachers will be at the Indiana School District, but also assigned to other districts as well, making an online co-hort. This will come at no cost to the district.
The board also will consider the district’s portion of the ICTC Budget. The district’s portion will be based off of the how many students from the district attend ICTC. The budget for ICTC is $6, 528,503, which is an increase of 5.97%.
The board also will approve several Extra Duty/Extra pay assignments, including the boys and girls basketball coaches positions, assistant athletic directors, and various advisers.
The board also plans to approve the list of graduates for the 2018-2019 school year.
