The schedule at Indiana County Court today includes a sentencing hearing for a Black Lick man charged with assaulting someone.
Court documents say that 20-year-old Damon Carter Froum will be sentenced today for a single count of simple assault. A second count of simple assault along with two counts each of disorderly conduct and harassment for an incident on July 9th of 2021 were not prosecuted.
Also due for sentencing today is an SCI Pine Grove inmate who was charged with procuring a weapon in prison. 30-year-old Ryan McManus was charged on September 21st of last year for an incident at the prison. He entered the guilty plea on May 16th.
And a plea court session is scheduled for today for Rose Marie Weimer. She is charged with burglary, criminal trespass, theft and false identification of a law enforcement officer. The incident was reported on October 13th of last year.
