An Indiana man now faces charges that stemmed from an assault Thursday night in White Township, and police are currently looking for him.
State Police say 43-year-old Ryan McAdoo of Indiana was involved in a verbal argument with a woman who was not identified by police around 8:45 PM Thursday night. During the argument, McAdoo got a knife from a kitchen drawer and threatened the victim. He eventually put the knife down but when the victim tried to call police, he took the phone from her and smashed it. The victim tried to run away, but McAdoo caught up with her, shoved her against a nearby residence, and held another knife against her torso. During the altercation, the neighbor intervened, and McAdoo fled the scene.
Police describe McAdoo as a white man, six feet tall, with brown hair and green eyes, and weighing about 170 pounds. He was last seen driving a white-in-color 2008 Ford F-250 with PA License plate Z-J-N-8-1-7-6. An arrest warrant has been issued for McAdoo, who faces two counts of misdemeanor simple assault and one count each of felony aggravated assault, misdemeanor reckless endangerment and summary harassment. If you have seen McAdoo or his truck, call State Police immediately at 724-357-1960.
