Few details are available on a crash that closed a portion of one of Indiana County’s major roadways.
Indiana County Coroner Jerry Overman, Jr. did confirm that the crash was fatal, but did not provide other details as next of kin have not been notified. The crash reportedly happened on Route 286 near Maudie’s Sixers near Aultman. Both directions of Route 286 were closed for several hours while crews were on the scene. Indiana County 911 reported that the crash happened at 5:30 PM, and it called out crews from Aultman, Homer City and Coal Run fire departments along with the State Police and Citizen’s Ambulance Service.
