The Indiana County Development Corporation is preparing a permit that may lead to 250,000 square feet being added to the new URBN facility being constructed at the Windy Ridge Business & Technology Park. That would bring the building close to a million square feet.
ICDC President Jim Wiley told the Chamber Board of Directors on Friday that his agency is also taking the necessary steps to begin extending the road through Windy Ridge to eventually connect to Rustic Lodge Road.
The $30 million URBN fulfillment center will carry the company’s furniture line, and is expected to employ at least 225 full-time workers. It’s expected to be operational in August.
