A lot of hirings are on the agenda for tonight’s River Valley School Board meeting.
The proposed agenda has 50 hirings on it ranging from teachers to guidance counselors to coaches and club advisors.
The board will also take a second look at several policies that will be up for approval tonight, including a policy confirming the district’s name and classification with the PA Department of Education, bullying and cyberbullying, therapy dogs, and the school district’s configuration. The board will also take a first look at a policy regarding the district’s STEAM academy in Saltsburg and the requirements for non-resident students to enroll.
The meeting starts tonight at 7:00 at the River Valley High School Auditorium.
