Borough police report an instance of public drunkenness in on North 8th Street. On May 7th at approximately 2:45 AM, borough police were dispatched to an apartment in the 00 block of North 8th due to a male that had punched out a window to enter the apartment. On scene, police identified 23-year-old Jordan Lopiccolo of Indiana, who was intoxicated and had sustained injuries from entering the window. Lopiccolo was transported to the Indiana Regional Medical Center by Citizen’s Ambulance. At the hospital, a sober adult took responsibility for Lopiccolo. A citation charging Lopiccolo with Public Drunkenness has been filed through Judge Haberl’s office.
State police report a number of items taken in a vehicle break-in along nicola Lane in White Township. A thief stole a pair of Zeiss binoculars, a computer thumb drive, and a bottle of prescription medicine containing seven pills. The victim is a 53-year-old man.
A Clymer man was injured in a May 1st accident just being reported today. State police say 42-year-old Frank Kunselman’s car missed on a left-hand curve and struck a tree alongside Clymer Road. Police say Kunselman suffered minor injuries and was taken by Citizens Ambulance to the Indiana Regional Medical Center.
