State police are investigating an argument between a man and a woman on Friday at a home in the 1700 block of Philadelphia Street in White Township. Police say the woman claims the man made terroristic threats toward her. She is 56 years old; he is 57.

A 45-year-old woman from Home received a letter from a collections agency demanding $2,106 in payment for some furniture that was bought in her name. State police investigated and found that an unknown identity thief had used the woman’s personal information to purchase the furniture. The investigation is ongoing.
