Indiana County mourns the loss of Frank Moore, who passed away Monday evening at the Indiana Regional Medical Center.
Moore’s lifetime of public service included a term in the state House of Representatives and a stint as Republican State Committee Chairman. He also served as Justice of the Peace for Rochester Mills and as Indiana County Treasurer.
He was a past president of the Indiana Volunteer Fire Association, co-founder of “Welcome to Indiana”, past president of the American Cancer Drive, and served with his daughter Linda on the committee for the 75th Birthday Celebration for Jimmy Stewart. He worked for Bell Telephone for 35 years and was a business owner. He and his family have been generous supporters of the Teddy Bear Fund Drive for many years.
Frank Moore was 85 years old. His funeral arrangements are in the care of the Bowser-Minich Funeral Home.
