Dolores E. Slupek, 88, of Indiana, passed away Saturday, March 30, 2019, at St. Andrew’s Village.
A daughter of the late Marshall L. and Dorothy E. Roadarmel Jennings, she was born Oct. 3, 1930, in Indiana.
Mrs. Slupek was a graduate of Indiana High School and was a member of Grace United Methodist Church. She was retired from Previte Realty, where she was a secretary. Mrs. Slupek had also worked at Troutman’s, R&P Coal, Lyle Putt Realty and the American Diabetes Association. She was an artist and she loved nature. Mrs. Slupek also enjoyed gardening, sewing and quilting.
She is survived by four children: John T. Slupek, Jr., of Cherry Tree; Mark B. Slupek and wife Christine, of Indiana; Susan D. Slupek, of Indiana; and Bonny M. Carr and husband Glenn, of Indiana; a brother, Robert L. Jennings and wife Hazel, of Oil City; five grandchildren: Camey Carr, Andrew Carr, Callista Carr, Mandy Slupek, Autumn Slupek; and numerous nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, John T. Slupek, Sr. and a granddaughter, Carrie Carr.
Friends will be received from 10 a.m. until the time of the funeral service at 12 noon Thursday at Grace United Methodist Church, with Pastor Kathy Mihoerck officiating. Interment will be in Greenwood Cemetery.
