It’s expected to be busy with a lot of pedestrians in Downtown Indiana this evening for several events.
First off, it’s the third Thursday of the month, which means a monthly music event at IRMC Park in Downtown Indiana. This time around, it will feature Jay and Cat from the band Told Ya So with live music starting around 5:00 PM.
Also starting at that time will be Downtown Indiana’s Taste and Tour event. This gives people the chance to visit downtown restaurants and bars to sample their wares, and restaurants outside the Downtown Indiana area will be set up in some stores to hand out samples. Eighteen restaurants and bars are taking part in the event. People will be able to cast their vote for restaurants to receive awards at the end of the night. Tickets are still available at $30 a single ticket or $25 apiece if you are buying more than two. To purchase tickets, log on to this website.
And after the sun goes down and taste and tour comes to an end, there will be a free outdoor movie screening at IRMC Park. This week, the film is “Made For Each Other” starring Jimmy Stewart and Carole Lombard. Participants are reminded to bring their own chair for the film.
