According to an ESPN report, the Steelers worked out a few defensive linemen last week, including a name IUP fans should recognize.
Among the five linemen brought in by the Steelers was former Crimson Hawks standout Dontrea Tillman, who played at IUP from 2016 through 2019.
Tillman, 24, was drafted by the Birmingham Stallions of the USFL earlier this year.
According to the report, the Steelers invited Tillman and four other lineman for the workout last week when they added defensive end Daniel Archibong to the team’s Reserve/Retired list, opening up a spot on the 90-man roster with training camp approaching.
