Blairsville Borough Police are investigating an incident of theft of diesel fuel that happened over the weekend.
Police say that Wyatt Marsh of Blairsville parked his tractor trailer below Dean’s Diner around 3 p.m. on Saturday and when he went to work this morning around 4 a.m., he noticed that 100 gallons of diesel fuel was missing. Officers say that $580 worth of gas was stolen and anyone with information should call 724-459-7555.
Blairsville Borough Police also report two incidents that happened on Friday.
The first happened shortly after midnight when officers conducted a traffic stop along South Walnut Street for a vehicle with a faulty taillight. During the stop, officers found a passenger, 50-year-old Ronald Heinbaugh, to be in possession of approximately 31.39 grams of marijuana along with two glass bowls.
Heinbaugh was charged with possession of a small amount of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia.
The next incident around 9:17 p.m. when officers noticed 30-year-old Evan Adams staggering down Sugar Alley and was almost hit by a car. Officers cited Adams for public drunkenness.
