UPDATE: Francise Reed waived all charges against her to court. No word yet on a trial date.
WHAT WE ORIGINALLY REPORTED:
An Indiana woman who is facing drug charges is scheduled for a preliminary hearing today in another case, for theft charges.
26-year-old Francise Reed is charged with four felony counts each of theft and theft by deception for selling three cars and a quantity of wood that she did not own. The incidents allegedly occurred in October of 2015 along Church Hill Road in Montgomery Township.
Last month, Reed waived to court charges of endangering the welfare of children, possession of a controlled substance, and possession of drug paraphernalia after a state police surveillance detail reportedly watched her being injected with heroin by 25-year-old Nicholas Murphy in the back seat of a car, with their 6-month-old son sitting between them.
Her hearing on the theft charges is scheduled for 10:15 this morning before District Judge George Thachik.
