The state police Indiana station moves into its new building today, across Route 286 from the present building, which it had outgrown.
The new address for the barracks is 35 Fenton Road, and the visitor entrance will be accessed via Fenton Road. The state police phone number for the new location will remain 724-357-1960. During today’s transition, the old building will be staffed to direct visitors to the new station.

The new Indiana station is an 18,774-square-foot building on a 19.339-acre plot. It will have emergency access only to Route 286 and the parking lot has 127 spaces. It includes an impound site and with the size of the property, could in the future be used to stage training exercises, according to the site plan submitted to White Township.
No plans have been announced for the old Indiana barracks.
