Continuing a tradition, some IUP students were up and awake Sunday morning helping to clean up the town after the unsanctioned celebrations over the weekend.
IUP reports that over 500 students were out on cleanup detail Sunday morning on campus and in the Indiana Borough/White Township areas. The annual cleanup was organized by the office of Fraternity and Sorority Life.
This is part of a social media movement called #IUPLeads, which included the student-made sign campaign that was visible throughout the weekend, and the distribution of about 1500 bottles of water on Saturday.
This year marks the second year of the #IUPLeads initiative.
