It was a busy day for first responders on Tuesday with multiple vehicle accidents reported in the southern parts of the county.
On top of an accident that happened on Route 22 yesterday morning, two more accidents were reported. The first of those was at 4:54 PM on East Market Street in Blairsville. Blairsville and Black Lick fire departments were dispatched along with Blairsville Borough Police and Mutual Aid Ambulance. Initial reports from the Black Lick fire department’s Facebook page said that the crash involved a vehicle and a pedestrian near the parking lot of Dunlap Eye Care. No other information on the crash has been released.
The fire departments were later dispatched at 11:39 PM for a vehicle accident on East Devinney Hollow Road in Burrell Township near Blairsville. Citizens Ambulance and State Police were also dispatched at the time.
Saltsburg, Tunnelton and Bell Township fire departments were dispatched for a structure fire early this morning at 12:26 AM. The call was for a location on Leech Avenue. Lifestat EMS was also called to the scene.
And members of the Indiana Fire Association were called out to Regency Square Drive in White Township for a reported vehicle fire at 4:05 this morning. This marks the third vehicle fire in White Township over the last week.
