No injuries were reported in a small fire at a home in Cherryhill Township this morning.
Indiana County 911 reported that Clymer, Cherryhill, Commodore and Indiana fire departments along with the Indiana County RIG team and Citizens Ambulance were all dispatched to Stable Drive at 6:10 this morning. Clymer Assistant Chief Haley Mumau said that the fire was a small fire in a stove in the kitchen of a house, and the homeowners had it put out by the time crews arrived.
Crews were able to pull the stove out as a precaution, and they also ventilated the smoke out of the building and checked to see if the fire spread elsewhere in the house.
