Irene (Cush) Leysock, of Lucernemines passed away March 18, 2019 at her residence. She was born in 1929 to the late John and Anna (Misik) Cush in Lucernemines.
Irene was a member of St. Mary’s Holy Protection Byzantine Catholic Church, Homer City.
She is survived by her daughter in law, Diane Leysock of Stow, OH; her grandson, Trevor (Margaux) Leysock, and her twin great-granddaughters Victoria & Vivienne Leysock all of Charleston, SC. She is also survived by her two sisters, Marie Exon, of Illinois and Delores Cush, of Indiana, PA.
In addition to her parents, Irene was preceded in death by her husband, Joe, her son, Greg, and also by her three sisters, Helen Brew, Agnes Mester, and Dorothy Novak.
Friends will be received Monday March 25, 2019 from 11 AM until time of service at 1 PM at the C. Frederick Bowser Funeral Home, Homer City, with Father Wesley Mash, officiating. Interment to follow at St. Bernard’s Cemetery, Indiana.
