The IUP women take on California University tonight for the NCAA Atlantic Region Championship at the Waco Arena at Glenville State College in West Virginia, with tip off at 7 o’clock.
These two teams squared off in the NCAA Tournament last year, with the Crimson Hawks beating the Vulcans, 90- 65, in the Region semifinals. California has won both meetings this year.
IUP has defeated Bowie State, 67-60, and Virginia Union, 66-58, while Cal has topped Charleston, 82-71, and host Glenville State, 87-77, in overtime .
