Contract talks are continuing between GM Ron Hextall and forward Evgeni Malkin.
This announcement comes on the heels of the announcement that the pens singed a deal with Kris Letang. The two along with Sidney Crosby have been the core of the team’s success. Hextall said that they have been “chipping away” at Malkin’s contract. He reiterated that they want to bring Malkin back and he is sure that Malkin wants to remain with the team.
