The shootings Fetterman referred to were the Highland Park, Illinois mass shooting and the shooting in Philadelphia that left two police officers with minor injuries.
Fetterman called on Senate Democrats to abolish a filibuster to ban assault weapons and high-capacity magazines. He also called for implemented universal background checks on gun sales.
