The World Baseball Classic is set to make a return in March 2023, tournament officials announced on Twitter earlier today.
USA will join Mexico, Colombia, Canada and another qualifying team in Pool C and will play from March 11-15 in Phoenix, AZ. The winner and runner-up of those games will face the winner and runner-up of Pool D at loanDepot Park in Miami, which consists of Puerto Rico, Venezuela, Dominican Republic, Israel, and another qualifying team.
Miami will also play host to the semi-final and final rounds, with the WBC Championship scheduled for March 21.
