Today is the first day on the job for the new director of the United Way of Indiana County.
Jane Lockard, a lifelong resident of Indiana County, was named the new director of the United Way last Friday. She comes from the Visiting Nurse Association of Indiana County, where she served as the VNA’s Director of Marketing and Business Development. She was also the executive director of accessAbilities for over 20 years.
In a media release, United Way of Indiana County President Aaron Ludwig said that Lockard would be a great addition to the staff, citing her experience in day-to-day management with other organizations.
Lockard takes over for Donna Griffith, who has served as the United Way’s Interim Director for the last 15 months.
