At Wednesday night’s meeting, the Center Township Supervisors announced that the township’s code enforcement officers will crack down on those who violate portions of the code.
Areas that will be focused on include keeping lawns mowed and making sure that their property is cleaned up. Chairman Matt Housholder said that during the pandemic, code enforcement officers have been letting things slide.
Violators will get one more warning before the magistrate becomes involved. The supervisors are willing to work with residents to correct problems, but progress needs to be shown.
