There are two Plea Court proceedings scheduled for drug defendants in Indiana County Court today, and a motions hearing in a sexual assault case.
Jesse Bruce Miller of Rochester Mills, who will turn 49 years old on Friday, will appear before Judge Thomas Bianco this morning to plead to charges of felony possession with intent to deliver a controlled substance, and misdemeanor possession of both a controlled substance and drug paraphernalia. The case stems from last July. Miller is scheduled for trial next week.
32-year-old Rickie Richardo Robertson Jr. of Braddock, Allegheny County, will also appear for Plea Court today. He’s charged with nineteen offenses, including twelve felonies. The felony charges include nine counts of possession with intent to deliver, two of criminal use of a communication facility, and three counts of conspiracy, one of which was being an employee of a corrupt organization. Robertson’s case is from March of 2017.
Judge Bianco will conduct a motions hearing for 26-year-old Allan Mahan of Punxsutawney, who is charged with involuntary deviate sexual intercourse with a person less than sixteen years of age, statutory sexual assault, aggravated indecent assault, corruption of minors, and indecent assault of a person less than sixteen years of age. The case originated in 2015 and the charges were filed last October. In February, Mahan’s attorney filed an omnibus pretrial motion asking for suppression of evidence in the case.
