The candidates for two judicial seats in Indiana County will meet tonight for a candidates night.
The Purchase Line United Methodist Church will host a judicial candidates night tonight at 6:30 at their church. Randy Degenkolb, Indiana County’s Prothonotory and Clerk of Courts and with the PLUM church, said that he admired those who have thrown their hat into the ring for these offices, as it represents a great sacrifice to serve the public in this fashion.
This year’s judicial races are filling two court seats. One of those seats is on the Magesterial District Court Level for George Thachick’s seat in Clymer, and the other is for the County Court of Common Pleas for Judge Carol Hanna’s seat. Those seats are coming up for election due to the upcoming retirement of Judge Thachick, and the earlier retirement of Judge Hanna.
