An Armstrong Township woman has announced her intent to run for county auditor.
In a news release, Laura Herrington has announced her candidacy for the Republican nomination for Auditor. Herrington is currently the office manager for the Indiana County Tourist Bureau. She says she wants to use the experience of her job as part of what she can do for the county. She also handles fiscal and administrative record for their family-owned janitorial and window-cleaning business.

Bonni Dunlap is also seeking the Republican party’s nomination for the auditor’s seat.
