We get WalletHub reports all the time on a variety of subjects, generally on topics such as “best cities for football fans” or “best areas for finding a tech job”, and now the personal finance website has issued a report on credit scores for the residents of more than 2,500 cities across America.
With a highest attainable score of 850, WalletHub found median credit scores for residents of Pennsylvania cities as high as 769 (Newtown, in Bucks County), and as low as 552 (Chester, in Delaware County).
The website also ranked the cities on the strength of their residents’ scores, with 99 percent being the best and one percent being the lowest.
So how do residents of Indiana Borough fare? Pretty well. With a median credit score of 722, Indiana is in the 73rd percentile and ranks number 686 in the nation.
Credit ratings influence the interest rates charged on loans and the type of credit card you can get.
