Homer City Post 493 concluded its senior legion season on the losing end Tuesday night, falling to Mount Pleasant, 6-4.
Both teams took a 4-4 tie into the bottom of the fifth, but Mount Pleasant struck for two unearned runs off reliever Alex Bauer to pull ahead for good.
Bauer went three innings on the mound and gave up two hits while collecting two strikeouts. He also went 2-for-3 at the plate with an RBI. Cody Housholder was 2-for-4 with a two-run hit in the fifth. Caleb Palmer and Nick Love collected triples while Adam Cowburn had a double.
Homer City Post 493 finishes its season with an overall record of 3-14.
