The White Township Supervisors announced yesterday that the Township’s annual summer street resurfacing project will begin today.
The resurfacing will take place in the Chevy Chase Heights community, where contractors recently completed the installation of nearly one mile of new underground stormwater drainage pipes.
Workers from Derry Construction Co. will begin work at 7 a.m. this morning and will work through Friday, July 1, weather permitting.
Supervisors say multiple streets will be paved in the neighborhood along with Greenview Drive in Country Club Estates and the work will assure seamless surfaces of recently excavated streets, assure the success of the township’s stormwater management efforts and provide a comfortable ride on streets.
