Gas price averages continue to go down across Pennsylvania and across the United States.
This morning, Triple-A reports the national average cost of a gallon of gas is now $4.90. That’s a drop of two cents from yesterday, and eight cents from last week. Last month, the national average was $4.59 a gallon. Pennsylvania’s average this morning is $4.96 a gallon, also a two-cent drop over the last 24 hours and a seven-cent drop over the last week. Last month, Pennsylvania’s average was $4.77 a gallon.
Indiana County’s average this morning is now below the $5.00 per gallon mark, at $4.99 a gallon this morning. That’s a one-cent drop from yesterday. The lowest averages in our region remain in Cambria and Jefferson Counties at $4.96 a gallon. Westmoreland County is just below Indiana with a $4.98 a gallon average. Clearfield county is at $5.00 a gallon this morning while Armstrong County is $5.01 a gallon on average today.
The most recent gas prices reported to GasBuddy.com in Indiana Borough, White Township, Homer City Borough, and Blairsville borough have prices at $4.95 a gallon, while the gas prices in Clymer are at $4.99 a gallon.
