The Pirates on Thursday afternoon lived by the Walk-off. Yesterday, they lost by the walk off against the Tampa Bay Rays. Joe Block reports.

In other Pirates news, Ke’Bryan Hayes was taken out of the lineup for yesterday’s game, as expected. Hayes injured his shoulder as he collided with Chicago catcher Wilson Contreas during a slide at home plate Thursday afternoon as he scored the winning run against the Cubs. Hoy Park started at third base last night for the Bucs. The Pirates also called up veteran right-hander Austin Brice from Indianapolis and designated Jerad Eickoff for assignment.
