Today, Downtown Indiana will see a Winter Warmup, not just in temperatures but in a special event involving several area restaurants.
Today is the annual Winter Warmup in Downtown Indiana sponsored by S&T Bank, and it will feature family-friendly activities starting at noon today. Normally, those activities are in IRMC Park, but because of the chance of rain that’s in the forecast today, those activities have been moved inside the 7th Street Marketry building. There will also be activities at Lucy Rae Gifts, William and Mary Gift Shoppe, and Hair4Everyone.
Starting at 1:00 will be a restaurant tour of Downtown Indiana, where people will get the chance to sample the best winter foods from nine restaurants, including The Coney, Artist’s Hand, H.B. Culpeppers, Insomnia Cookies, The 7th Street Marketry, Pita Pit, Subway, Grubs and Off The Rocks.
Tickets to the event are $15, and every paid ticket holder will be eligible to win the door prize of two tickets to the Penguins/Panthers game on March 5th or the Penguins/Bruins game on March 10th. Tickets for today’s event are available at 7th Street Marketry starting at noon today.
