Anna Bash, 92, of Indiana, passed away Tuesday, Feb. 19, 2019, at Bethany Place.
A daughter of the late Andrew and Elizabeth Bielcik Rohacheck, she was born March 1, 1926, in Heilwood.
Mrs. Bash was a homemaker. She enjoyed her work, retiring at age 76, from Halldin Printing Company, with 30 years of service. Mrs. Bash was a member of Zion Lutheran Church. She was a fantastic cook and baker and loved cooking for her family and being outdoors working in her garden.
She is survived by two children: Ronald E. Fulmer and companion Gerie, of Lugoff, SC; Shirley B. Plavi and husband Robert, of Home; a brother, Andrew Rohacheck, of Va.; two sisters: Marie Campbell, of Penn Run; Elizabeth Rohacheck, of Indiana; six grandchildren: Joseph Fulmer, Amie Fulmer, Rebecca Blatt, Malinda Bush, Cary Bryson and John Plavi; 10 great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Paul U. Bash; a daughter, Carol Ann Blatt; two brothers, Steve Rohacheck, Michel Rohacheck; two sisters: Helen Ekis, Ludmila Rumanova; and a grandson, Matthew Fulmer.
Friends will be received from 9:30 a.m. until the time of the funeral service at 11 a.m. Monday at Zion Lutheran Church, with Pastor Sarah Aasheim officiating. Interment will be in Oakland Cemetery. Robinson-Lytle, Inc. is in charge of arrangements.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly suggests memorial contributions be made to Zion Lutheran Church, 100 S. 6th Street, Indiana, PA 15701.
