WHITE TOWNSHIP
A Kittanning man was accused of shoplifting in an incident Thursday at the White Township Wal-Mart. State Police say 52-year-old Charles Anthony was stopped by Wal-Mart’s loss prevention team as he tried to leave the store without paying for a 35 lb bag of cat food and a drone. He was taken into custody, but released later on. A criminal complaint and a preliminary hearing are now pending.
State Police are reporting another theft from a car. This one was in the Chevy Chase section of White Township on April 19th between 7 AM and Noon. The vehicle was parked on Clinton Street, and a fitbit and cash was taken. Call State Police if you have any information on this incident.
A Shelocta woman reported to police that her wallet was stolen sometime in March. State Police report that Florence Foringer of Shelocta had her wallet was taken recently, possibly from her shopping cart when she was shopping at Wal-Mart or Giant Eagle in White Township. The wallet contained $130 in cash.
