State police in Kittanning say two Indiana County residents are facing charges after a traffic stop in Apollo Tuesday evening.
A vehicle was pulled over on Kiski Avenue near Astronaut Way and the trooper who made the stop noted that the driver was impaired. A search of the vehicle yielded drugs and drug paraphernalia, and the driver had counterfeit money in his possession. He also was wanted by Pittsburgh police on a felony warrant for access device fraud, another warrant from Delmont police for hindering apprehension, and a third warrant from Monroeville police for retail theft.
Both of the suspects are from Clune, in Indiana County. The driver is a 34-year-old man who was taken to the Armstrong County Jail. The passenger, a 35-year-old man also from Clune, had drugs and drug paraphernalia.
Police have not identified either suspect.
